NetStar Technologies’ 48' Combat Boat 90H (CB90H) is an all aluminium advanced, next generation, watercraft that is heavily reinforced for forceful landing on unprepared beaches. Capable of transporting more than 20 soldiers and cargo at more than 20 knots, it’s construction is aimed at allowing top speeds over 45 knots while accommodating a crew of 2 + 1-2 in reasonable comfort. It has an aircraft-style cockpit with two operator seats and a middle jump seat that swings into and out of place. It has a head just below the cockpit divided by a passageway that leads to a bow ramp, so troops can be put ashore quickly. The ship’s cabin space can also be configured to serve as a floating command post with extra communication gear or strictly as a gunboat with options to mount machine guns, grenade launchers, a mortar tube and Hellfire missiles. It can also be rigged for extended voyages with racks and a galley.

The CB90H is an exceptionally fast and agile boat. It’s light weight, shallow draft and twin Rolls-Royce water jets allow it to operate at speeds of up to 40 knots (74 km/h) in shallow coastal waters. Maneuverability at both low & high speeds is precise and nimble. The water jets are partially ducted, which, along with underwater control surfaces similar to a submarine's diving planes, allows the CB90H to execute extremely sharp turns at high speed, decelerate from top speed to a full stop in 2.5 boat lengths, and adjust its pitch and roll angle while under way.

The CB90H has an extensive range of options available including gun mounts, communications gear, electronics and more to choose from. Primary systems like electrical, fuel and propulsion are standardized to simplify logistics, repair and training requirements. All models are available with two state-of-the-art turbocharged Caterpillar C12 ACERT 660 HP diesel inboard engines that provide outstanding performance and offer several hours of operation. These engines meet all environmental requirements in addition to providing easy maintenance and service efficiencies.
