Leatherwood ART Sniper Scopes

When it comes to sniper scopes, there are none better than Leatherwood ART Sniper Scopes. As an Authorized Leatherwood/Hi-Lux Optics Dealer, Netstar Technologies offers the complete line of Leatherwood/Hi-Lux Optics precision scopes and mounting systems.

Developed by Jim Leatherwood, ART (Automatic Ranging & Trajectory) scopes make it easier for the military to train qualified long-range snipers by practically eliminating the need to estimate range. Thanks to a simple to read “through the lens” ranging system and a fully adjustable external Camputer cam system, soldiers are able to precisely place shots at ranges far beyond the practical limits of open sights or conventional telescopic sights — without having to guess the range or calculate bullet drop. Over the years, the Leatherwood/ Hi-Lux Camputer scope system has been steadily improved, and is currently in use by military and law enforcement snipers.

M-600 3-9X40mm ART Sniper Scope for 5.56mm / .223 Reminton

Leatherwood Camputer ART Riflescopes were developed during the Vietnam war as the M-16 became the main battle rifle of the U.S. Forces. Today’s new M-600 Leatherwood ART Scope is much improved over the ART scopes on the original rifles with a new finish, new cam, new mount, new one piece tube, and new high quality optics. The M-600 incorporates the lessons that we have learned from the production of the original version. This is the most difficult scope in the world to mass produce because of the precision needed for the ballistic cam and the complex etched glass reticle.

Currently in use in Iraq, the M-600 ART Sniper Scope's main benefit in the “Camputer” design. The shooter doesn't have to be trained in range estimation or range correction. He only needs the skills to make well aimed shots. By zooming the scope and framing a target of known size in the scope's reticle pattern, the rifle is automatically set for the range to the target. Then the shooter just holds "dead-on", and the automatic calibration built into the scope does the work. The M-600 3-9 x40mm will “Auto-Range” from 200 to 600 meters.

It’s optics are bright and precise, the “Camputer” control zooms smoothly from 3 to 9 power, and flip-up dust covers (front & rear) offer lens protection when in carry mode or storage. The Leatherwood scopes feature heavy aircraft aluminum construction, highest quality optical glass, clearly marked increments on control knobs, and a matte black non reflective finish. Leatherwood Camputer Scopes include both rings and a clamp-on flat-top mounting system.

M-1200 6-26X50mm TACTIKAL™ ART Sniper Scope for 7.62 NATO to .50 BMG

Designed for calibers from 7.62 NATO to 50 BMG, the Leatherwood M-1200 Camputer ART Scope offers “Auto-Ranging” capabilities for ranges from 300 - 1200 meters. A shorter range setting (200m) is also provided. This scope allows the shooter to adjust the scope for long range, and still have all the internal adjustment for initial zero and fine adjustment. Zoom power is 6x to 24x with a 50mm and the reticle is a “No-Math” Mil Dot configuration. All air to glass surfaces are fully multi-coated to give a brilliant high resolution image, and adjustments are covered tactical type with 1/8 minute clicks.
